Just one day after Christmas we are here for already the 200th edition. In its current form Songvision started in 2012, initially as a Dutch-based contest. Over the years players have joined, left and rejoined and our contest switched to English to allow the participation of non-Dutch speaking players.
Thanks to this song of Maria Elena Kyriakou in the last round the 200th edition takes place on the sunny island of Cyprus, for the first time! Welcome to Larnaca!
We have no less than 35 entries for this edition and would like to give a warm welcome back to Philipp who chose this edition to make his comeback!
Because there are 35 songs this edition, just for this round we have an adjusted voting which allows to vote for 12 songs, instead of just 10 (and substitutes). The voting will be with 20, 17, 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 points.
As mentioned before, the deadline is also longer than usual, until Monday 6 January 9 pm CET (21.00h). This way everyone can take their time to vote and celebrate the beginning of a new decade. Best wishes for everyone in advance and enjoy the 200th round!
